This collection of engineering examples compiles selected drawings of the clean operating departments of 21 hospitals of representative categories, covering four kinds of drawings: floor plans, zoning and circulation route diagrams, the floor plan of a single operating room, and schematic diagrams of air handling systems. Each is accompanied by descriptions in four aspects: "Project Overview", "Layout", "Air-Conditioning and Purification System", and "Indoor Air Distribution". These projects were, for the most part, designed or completed after the implementation of the Architectural Technical Code for Hospital Clean Operating Department, and efforts were made in all of them to implement the Code, so they are of reference value to readers at large. However, for various reasons—and especially because the Construction Standard for Hospital Clean Operating Department and the Architectural Technical Code for Hospital Clean Operating Department have not been in effect for long—these designs inevitably still have defects of one kind or another; nevertheless, to facilitate readers' reference, these drawings are still presented here. Once readers have mastered the principles set out in Part One, "Technical Measures", they will naturally be able to judge for themselves. That is to say, these drawings are for reference only, whereas the Code is the authoritative basis.
