Operating Table
The long side of the operating table should generally be parallel to the long side of the operating room, and the center of the table surface should coincide with the center of the operating room. Operating tables can be classified as manual, electric, or hydraulic types. The functions of a manual operating table are exactly the same as those of an electric one. Electric operating tables are usually provided; several common types of 220V operating tables are shown in Figure 6.8.

The power supply capacity is approximately 1.5kW, but the specific configuration requirements should still be based on the power distribution needs specified in the product manual.
【Reference】 Medical instruments in the operating room are generally arranged on the inner side of the operating room, with the anesthesia machine positioned at the patient's head. The outer side of the operating table serves as the passage for pushing the patient stretcher when the patient enters the operating room. Therefore, the head end of the operating table should be located near the entrance, so that when the stretcher is pushed into the operating room, it does not need to turn around inside the room, and the patient can be transferred horizontally from the stretcher onto the operating table exactly aligned with the head end of the table, as shown in Figure 6.9.
