Particle Size Distribution
The particle sizes are distributed as frequency distribution and cumulative distribution, and are a function of particle size
【Reference】 If expressed as the percentage of the number of particles of different sizes in a group of particles relative to the total number, it is called the frequency distribution of particle number by size, or simply the particle size frequency distribution.
【Reference】 If expressed as the percentage of the number of particles greater than or equal to a certain size in a group of particles relative to the total number, it is called the cumulative distribution of particle size.
【Reference】 The distribution of particles by size is the degree of dispersion of the particles, e.g., the percentages of the number (or mass) of particles of different sizes in a group of particles relative to the total number (or mass).
【Reference】 The cumulative distribution of particle size plotted on log-log paper (i.e., with both the X-axis and the Y-axis expressed logarithmically) is called the cumulative particle size distribution on log-log paper.
