(2) The at-rest cleanroom, usually called a static cleanroom, refers to a cleanroom in which all facilities and functions are complete and the equipment has been installed and can be operated, but with no working personnel.
(3) The operational cleanroom, usually called a dynamic cleanroom, refers to a cleanroom in normal operation with personnel performing their work.
[Reference] An as-built cleanroom is one that has been built and has had all utility pipelines connected and made functional, but has no production equipment, materials, or personnel in the room. An at-rest cleanroom is one in which the equipment has been installed and can operate as agreed between the user and the supplier, but no personnel have entered. An operational cleanroom is one in which the equipment is functioning in the specified manner and a specified number of personnel have entered and are working in the agreed manner.
