Compressed air should, wherever possible, be installed with two types of outlets for two different pressure requirements: one outlet has an output pressure of 0.4 MPa and is mainly used for ventilator power, spray therapy, and mixing with other types of gases, where the pressure used should not be too high; the other outlet has an output pressure of 0.9 MPa, which is relatively high, and is used for high-speed power tools such as pneumatic drills and pneumatic saws, mainly for open-chest and cranial surgery, and therefore requires a relatively high pressure.
