Clean Operating Department of the People’s Hospital of Rui’an City, Zhejiang Province
I. Project Overview
Operating room area: 1620m².
Number of operating rooms: 12.
Cleanliness classification: 2 Class Ⅰ rooms, 4 Class Ⅱ rooms, and 6 Class Ⅲ rooms.
II. Floor Plan Layout
(1) Design type. Waste recovery type (the central corridor is designed as a clean corridor, and the outer corridor serves as a waste passage).
(2) The operating rooms are located on the second floor, the technical interlayer is between the second and third floors, and part of the air-conditioning machine rooms is located in the technical layer.
III. Air-Conditioning and Purification System
(1) Fresh air units. The fresh air units centrally treat the fresh air and deliver it to the mixing sections of each air-conditioning unit; operating rooms sharing a return air unit are synchronized in their on/off control.
(2) Recirculation units. Class Ⅰ and Class Ⅱ operating rooms adopt a one-to-one configuration, while Class Ⅲ operating rooms adopt a one-to-two configuration.
(3) Units. Reheating uses steam heating, and humidification uses dry steam humidification.
(4) Automatic control system. In summer, a humidity-priority control mode is adopted: the signals from the temperature and humidity sensors are transmitted to the DDC, which controls the dehumidification capacity by adjusting the opening of the automatic water valve on the chilled water pipe; then the DDC controls the supply air temperature by adjusting the opening of the automatic steam valve on the steam pipe, so as to meet the constant temperature and humidity control requirements. In winter, the signals from the temperature and humidity sensors are transmitted to the DDC, which controls the temperature by adjusting the opening of the automatic steam valve on the hot water pipe, and sends a signal to the dry steam humidifier to control the humidity.
IV. Indoor Air Distribution
The operating rooms adopt overhead supply with lower return and upper exhaust; the corridors and auxiliary rooms adopt overhead supply with overhead return and upper exhaust. Mechanical constant air volume valves are installed on the supply air branch pipes of the operating rooms, air volume control valves on the return air pipes, and electric two-position constant air volume valves on the fresh air branch pipes. The supply air outlets of the operating rooms are centrally arranged above the operating table, with the air outlet surface fully covered with HEPA filters; the return air inlets are arranged at the lower parts on both sides of the room; an exhaust outlet is provided at the top of each room, connected via an independent exhaust fan to the main exhaust fan for discharge.
