I. Project Overview

Operating room area: 2900m².

Number of operating rooms: 24.

Cleanliness classification: 2 Class Ⅰ rooms, 22 Class Ⅲ rooms.

Special construction: 2 shielded operating rooms, 2 infection operating rooms.

II. Plane Layout

(1) Design type: waste recovery type (the central corridor is designed as a clean corridor, and the outer corridor serves as the waste passage)

(2) The operating rooms are located on the second floor, the technical interlayer is between the second and third floors, and part of the air-conditioning machine rooms are located on the third floor.

III. Air-Conditioning and Purification System

(1) Fresh air units. The fresh air units centrally process the fresh air and deliver it to the mixing sections of each air-conditioning unit; operating rooms sharing a return air unit are synchronized in their on/off control.

(2) Recirculation units. In this project, the Class Ⅰ operating rooms are equipped with independent air-conditioning systems with one unit serving one room, while the remaining Class Ⅲ operating rooms adopt the one-unit-for-two-rooms and one-unit-for-three-rooms configurations.

(3) Units. Reheating adopts electric heating, and humidification adopts dry steam humidification.

(4) Automatic control system. In summer, a humidity-priority control mode is adopted: the signals from the temperature and humidity sensors are transmitted to the DDC, and the DDC controls the opening degree of the automatic water valve on the chilled water pipe to control the dehumidification capacity; then the DDC controls the electric heating to control the supply air temperature, so as to meet the constant temperature and humidity control requirements. In winter, the signals from the temperature and humidity sensors are transmitted to the DDC, and the DDC controls the opening degree of the automatic water valve on the hot water pipe as well as the electric heating to control the temperature, and sends a signal to the dry steam humidifier to control the humidity.

IV. Indoor Air Distribution

The operating rooms adopt the air supply mode of top supply, bottom return, and top exhaust; the corridors and auxiliary rooms adopt top supply, top return, and top exhaust. Mechanical constant air volume valves are installed on the supply air branch pipes of the operating rooms, air volume regulating valves are installed on the return air pipes, and electric two-position constant air volume valves are installed on the fresh air branch pipes. The air supply outlets of the operating rooms are centrally arranged above the operating table, with the air outlet surface fully covered with HEPA filters; the return air inlets are arranged at the lower parts on both sides of the room, and an exhaust outlet is provided at the top of each room, which is connected to the main exhaust fan via an independent exhaust fan for discharge.
