Solution Overview

Every Door in the Hospital, Engineered and Supplied by One Manufacturer

Pengchi’s Metal Medical Door Solution provides a complete door program for hospitals, clinics and laboratory buildings under a single contract: automatic medical sliding doors, automatic folding doors, cleanroom doors, medical manual steel doors, radiation-proof swing doors and steel security doors. Instead of procuring each door type from a different vendor, project owners receive one coordinated schedule, one manufacturing standard and one accountable supplier from the first door drawing to final commissioning.

Every door is manufactured in our 30,000 m² own factory on automated steel lines. Leaf panels are precision-cut, press-formed and finished with medical-grade powder coating, wood-grain film or stainless steel, then fitted with hardware before delivery. Factory pre-finishing means consistent quality across hundreds of openings, fast dry installation on site and a surface system that withstands daily impact and wipe-down disinfection with hospital cleaning agents.

The range is configured around clinical function. Automatic sliding doors — including magnetic-levitation and IoT-enabled digital variants — keep high-traffic entrances, corridors and operating rooms moving while maintaining a hermetic seal when closed. Cleanroom doors provide continuous gaskets and interlocked airlock control to hold graded room pressure. Manual steel doors offer single- or double-leaf swing configurations in standard, airtight and lead-lined versions. Radiation-proof swing doors are lined with lead sheet calculated to the room’s shielding requirements, with overlapping edges to eliminate leakage paths.

Accessibility and security complete the program: compact automatic folding doors serve barrier-free entrances and lift lobbies where side room is limited, while reinforced steel security doors protect plant rooms, pharmacies, storage and controlled-access zones. Each opening is confirmed against your door schedule, with vision panels, kick plates, access readers, hold-open magnets and emergency hardware configured to its location.

Our turnkey scope covers door schedule review, shop drawings, in-house manufacturing, worldwide logistics, installation supervision, commissioning and training, supported by complete documentation — CE marking, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates, third-party airtightness and cycle-test reports and lead-shielding certificates. Send us your floor plans and door list, and our engineering team will configure the complete door package to your project on one coordinated timeline.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about medical door types, airtightness, radiation shielding and project support.

The solution covers six door categories: automatic folding doors, automatic medical sliding doors, cleanroom doors, medical manual steel doors, medical radiation-proof swing doors and medical steel security doors. Each category includes single- and double-leaf variants, airtight options and a range of finishes, so every opening in a hospital — entrance, corridor, operating room, cleanroom, X-ray room or utility area — can be configured from one manufacturer.

Yes. The automatic sliding doors use heavy-duty operators with microwave and infrared safety sensors, smooth variable-speed control and optional magnetic-levitation mechanisms for quiet, high-cycle operation. Hermetic versions with drop-down seals are available for operating rooms, while glass and IoT-enabled variants suit public entrances and corridors.

Cleanroom doors are built with continuous gaskets, precision-aligned leaves and optional interlocking airlock control that prevents both doors opening simultaneously. Airtight swing and automatic swing variants maintain the graded pressure differentials required in cleanrooms, and can be supplied with airtightness test reports for qualification.

Radiation-proof doors are lined with lead sheet sized to the shielding calculation for the room — commonly 2 mmPb to 4 mmPb for diagnostic X-ray rooms and higher equivalents for radiotherapy applications. Both manual swing and automatic sliding lead-door configurations are available, with overlapping edges to prevent leakage at the frame.

Yes. Leaf dimensions, vision panels, kick plates, handles and access hardware are made to order, and steel leaves can be finished in powder-coated colors, wood-grain films or stainless steel to match the hospital interior. Accessibility-compliant folding doors and custom lead shielding are configured from your door schedule and floor plan.

We provide installation drawings, on-site or remote installation guidance, commissioning and operator training, along with CE documentation, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates and third-party test reports. Automatic door operators and spare parts are supported for the full product lifecycle through our after-sales team.
